Well it's a new week and today it has been a busy editing day from the shoots last week. The shot above was for The Fitness Brand LDN at the Until Gym in London which was a pleasure to do. An all female group of around 20 working out on all the machines, glad I was behind the camera and not on the exercise equipment. A great strong group of empowered women. Well this week began with a shoot for the Reflexology Room in London which was lovely, I learnt a lot about feet which I didn't know maybe I will visit as a customer next time...
Committee meeting at our local camera club this week which will be busy which new chairman and a lot to discuss and plan for the year ahead. Thinking of our camera club members I decided to invest in a very cheap wide angle lens and test it out to see what it performs like in the real world. It's okay reading the reviews and looking at all the YouTube videos but it is better to just get one yourself and see what it can do. The lens in question is by Viltrox a 3rd party lens supplier which on the face of it seems to be a good investment for the hobbyist photographers we have in the club. At £140 for a f/2.8 20mm wide prime it's a bargin being a tenth of the price of a pro lens but the question is can it produce the goods? Made from cheap plastic but with a metal mount and including a usb port for firmware upgrades it is small light and easy to throw in the pocket. I look forward to testing it out this week on a variety of things. Later in the week I have some property photography booked in and some headshots coming up as well.
Bye for now, enjoy your week and watch out for another post next week.
